A particular pain because it makes ER’s post hard to read. I read it in “edit” mode.

Editing a comment will show the changes in the “edit” mode, but in at least two cases on two different boards, the “formal” display does not show the update. Note in particular my “Testing Blockquote” post on Geekspeak. My added comment “Oooh, nice color” shows up properly in the edit pages, but not so far in the main “view” page.

By the way, if you click “view” from the edit pages, it takes you to a main page that doesn’t work right. Clicking the header no longer displays the post. You have to go back through the “habitablezone.com” main link to get to a page where the features work right.

I edited a comment to correct a bad HTML format. As with everything, the correction worked in the blue “edit” interface, but it’s stuck on the old format when you open the comment in the new interface. In the past, these things sometimes fix themselves if you regenerate or re-open the page enough times.

Again, the “visual” main interface page does not function if you link to it from the wrong places, like the edit pages. Main posts don’t open when you click them, although comments do. You have to open the Zone from the main URL to get to a working interface.

Thought about you working to get us back on-line from The Blackout while I hauled two tons of rose colored sandstone to the back yard for this year’s landscaping project. It’s a beautiful Permian medium-grained, well-sorted, eaolian sandsone with nice bedding planes from a quarry just north of here.

Good exercise, but I feel you’ve been doing the heavy lifting the last couple of days. This place doesn’t exist without your ministrations. Me, I just take out the trash.
