When I make them with real eggs, nobody gets to eat the dough. Don't trust raw eggs nowadays, even with 99 out of 100 chances of no problems.

Sometimes I make them with Egg Beaters or something like that. Pasteurized. Nibble away!

Somebody at our store had cartons of pasteurized eggs in the shell once. Special process - tasted and baked up just fine. Frigging brilliant, but I've never seen them since.

I'd have to add a few steps:

--Add ingredients to big bowl and mix

--eat raw dough

--waddle to store for more ingredients

--add to bowl and mix

--think about eating raw dough again

--listen to wife tell me she knows what I'm thinking and I won't do it if I know what's good for me

--bake cookies and sulk until they're done

Num num. I can almost smell them baking. Ooh, I love taking chocolate chip cookies out of the oven. They're so soft and gooey while warm.
