Don't trust raw eggs nowadays, even with 99 out of 100 chances of no problems. Sometimes I make them with Egg Beaters or something like that. Pasteurized. Nibble away! Somebody at our store had cartons of pasteurized eggs in the shell once. Special process - tasted and baked up just fine. Frigging brilliant, but I've never seen them since.
