Obviously, next of kin and such have the right to be notified first. The list of missing is very fuzzy. I heard a news report on the radio yesterday where a reporter found a family that was on the missing list and talked to them on the air. They were fine. An eyewitness reported she witnessed a 300 lb. man sucked out through a window. However, if his body has not been found, he will be listed as among the missing, not the dead. It may not have been within the confines of St. John's, I'm not sure because her telling was extremely emotional and very fast, too much to get out too fast, but I remember on the news it talking about several babies dying. The five patients were apparently on ventilators, and died when the backup generator was literally sucked from the building.
