Palin e-mail update June 11, 2011 5:05 pm TB

Faced with a complete fiasco, the media is now resorting to this.

Apparently, the Palin that the e-mails reveal – the “popular, charismatic, competent woman of the people” – isn’t the “real” Palin at all, but the “old” Palin. A Palin that doesn’t exist any more.

The “real” Palin is the current caricature (their word) and has nothing to do with the e-mails. In short, they’ve taken the unexpected results of their e-mail witch hunt and declared that This Is Not The Witch We Are Looking For. I had to check and make sure this wasn’t an Onion article.

Never mind that the caricature was invented out of whole cloth by the Democrats and their media flunkies. Never mind that if they actually had found any dirt, you can bet your ass the “old” Palin would have been quickly merged with the “new” one.

Molly Ball, the author of the article, needs to be gently reminded that it was this “old” Palin, the Palin just before her selection, the “competent” Palin, that the media and the Democrats subjected to one of the worst shitstorms I’ve ever seen directed at anyone.
