Tax cut zombies have created the deficits June 12, 2011 7:54 pm BuckGalaxy

Decades of non stop tax cuts from the right have blown a gigantic hole in the budget. And still they come at us every two years claiming we need to cut taxes. The Ryan and TPaw plans both advocate more huge tax cuts for the rich. What the fuck is the matter with these assholes? Can we balance the goddamn budget first??

10 ways America has become a low tax nation.

The last chart is particularly interesting. Eliminating all the loopholes in the tax code would increase revenues by $1T!. This would dramatically reduce the current deficit in these bad times, and no doubt create a huge surplus in a strong economy. It would make medicare and medicaid solvent for the future.
