Best bet for jobs in college is to locate the college's student employment department. Nowadays they're online, but in my day it was a bulletin board with job sheets all over it. Write down the number and give them a call. The advantage to this is that you know these people are already looking for part-time student work, and it filters out a lot of frustrated searching. Let me explain. Many people I know have a bone to pick with the local best buy because the local Geek Squad simply doesn't know what they're doing. They give us a fix, the next week something else happens. I've looked online, and it turns out, the local Squad isn't the only one people hate. And when it comes to flipping burgers, I'd think it'd be self explanatory. My biggest hope for a job is in college, were I could get a student position with the faculty. What I REALLY want to do is get into the Aerospace/defense contractor business. Yeah, I'm gonna be a bit occupied for the next four years.
