I guess I think about these thinks in a more left-brained kind of way. If I had a kid like that, I’d accept he was my kid, but I’d do everything I could to make sure he could be better. Better yet, I’d see a genetic therapist before he was born. Test tube babies FTW!!!

From my point of reference, she is trying to understand what is about to transpire in her life. She is making sense of it, understanding it and coping with it. Writing down on *paper* certain realities that will, is, or has taken place is one of the most cathartic experiences anyone can ever do for themselves.

I oughta know.

No, I’ll admit it: I thought this might be the end of Palin’s political career. Instead, it may be a new beginning.

TB’s right–news anchors are basically pleading to be told about “the smoking email,” and it’s a testament to the integrity of the journalists on the scene that they’re simply reporting what they find.

It is a little over the top. I do admire that she thinks her child is precious and a “gift.” I wouldn’t be blaming God but OTOH, I wouldn’t be saying he picked me out for something “special.” Sometimes shit just happens and you deal with it and in the case of a special needs child, love it.
