Damn, that’s made me hungry. I got bread, I got cheddar and I got eggs. Off for an English breakfast for lunch.

It’s weird…go to a store and look at the fancy cheeses. The big bricks and wheels. Some of them look like they’ve been dragged back and forth through a goat yard, but this is apparently something good in a cheese.

An interesting experience, though I must say it’s left an odd taste in my mouth. It’s not unlike…well, have you ever found a small block of cheese in the back of your fridge, and you know its got to have been back there for a very long time because you honestly can’t recall ever seeing it before and it can’t possibly be any good, but you examine it for mold and can’t find any–though there’s some discoloring around the edges but that might just be the beginnings of freezer burn, which of course anyone knows doesn’t occur only in the freezer–so after mulling it over you pop it in your mouth, and it’s stale and dry and tastes really old, and you consider spitting it out but you’ve already come this far so you chew, and the texture’s not at all right so you start chewing double-time, and you’re totally committed now so you just swallow the damn thing and you can just tell as it’s going down that within an hour, 90 minutes tops, you will in fact see that piece of cheese again? If it really was cheese, that is.

Hmmm…upon reflection, I probably should have just said that sarcasm tastes like chicken and left it at that…
