Sure, sure...and then some little old white lady will decide to hide a bomb in her astronaut diaper, and BOOM. It's just another wrinkly old butt until it become weaponized. Then granny's ass changes the world.

I'm opposed to racial profiling, after all, terrorists could pick white guys (or seniors, women, children, or the handicapped) to do their dirty work. What happens is that instead a group of mostly innocent people are singled out and then get picked on, even in no-risk situations. Racists are always looking for excuses, they are the masters of "I told you so".

OTOH, everything, even avoidance of racist profiling, should be done with moderation, and a little common sense...

Frankly, I have to agree. They know it could very well happen there.

Israeli airport security is based in reality, it would never work in the politically correct swamp known as the United States.

Of course you favor profiling, and anyone with a brain agrees.

Real liberals are against profiling based on the theory that we all must suffer to avoid offending a minority group. Better we end as a species.

There are no liberals posting here anymore. We had some in the past but Robert is the closest we come now, and he is a confessed elitist, which is a trait owned by liberals but shared with conservatives.

Our current posters are essentially moderates. Any label affinity is all about self image and/or what and who they think is cool. It reminds me of sports team fandom, where 5 degrees of difference is manifested as bitter hatred.

Sorry to burst any self image bubbles. :)

What if we all decided not to fly anywhere for a week? Put the airlines into bankruptcy, put the federal government into a bind. Maybe then, the SOB's would change the policy. The former head of El Al Security in Israel told Brian Williams today that our kind of screening is a joke. Only it's no joke; it's distressing old people, babies and a lot of people in between. It makes me want to do unmentionable things to every damned TSA agent. Just like Nazis didn't have to go along with their atrocities, TSA agents are not required to BE TSA agents. If there weren't any, who would do the patdowns?

Or maybe we should all insist on patting THEM down first and do a really good job of it.

And arresting that guy for ejaculating? Jesus H. I would assume he couldn't help it. SNL should do a skit about that one.

What happens if we all followed the example of John Tyler? 'Course he's being fined 10 grand now.....

Personally, I'm all for the Munroe Approach, but you gotta be careful....

Oh, and here's another example of TSA Touchy-Feelie..... and another.....
