The more genteel and lofty conservative intellectuals have their think tanks, blogs and pundits generating more theoretical and subtle material for the cognoscenti, but still based on the same principles of selection, emphasis and targeting. This is called the broad-spectrum, balanced approach. Don't for a moment believe conservative politics is only about fiscal responsibility, sound administration and restrained policy.
