What was really interesting about it was that it wasn’t a slip of the tongue. He comes out and basically says, “get ready with the cut-out button, for I am about to call the President of the United States a dick.”

It was also interesting coming from MSNBC, which is probably the number one mainstream media toadie of Obama and the Democrats.

I proudly called W an idiot many times, even right on this site not too long ago. But if I were in the gallery during one of his State of the Union speeches I would not have heckled him. And if I had been invited to his White House to accept an award, I would not have insulted him publicly.

There are constitutional rights, and there is just common courtesy. And from a professional journalist, you at least expect a formal level of impartiality, even when editorializing.

Ah, another Google sloth, eh? Yeah, I need to really care about something before I bother looking it up. Besides, after you do, you usually find there is a source somewhere (except for simple factoids like names and dates) that will tell you whatever you want to hear.
