I have a friend who earns a little extra money by giving historic graveyard tours.
She dresses up in authentic Victorian widow's weeds and takes groups of tourists through old cemeteries, giving lectures and anecdotes on the individuals buried there, their lives (and deaths!) and times.

During one tour, she was attacked by a hawk nesting in a nearby tree. The animal singled her out among all the tour-goers, and repeatedly attacked the elaborate black feathered hat and veil of her mourning costume. It seemed determined to drive her off, and since the bird is capable of inflicting serious injury, she felt it best to cut her lecture short and withdraw.
