The GOP is making a deal with the devil here, they are unleashing some of the worst instincts of the American people, nativism, chauvinism, hatred, anti-intellectualism, unreasoning nationalism and exceptionalism, and most of all, fear. TB, you, like many other thoughtful Republicans, smell victory in the water, and you are working yourself up to a feeding frenzy by drawing on the energy of this relatively small but active group of zealots.
