To date, depending on how you count, the Republicans have offered four workable solutions to the debt limit issue, and there is at least one other on the back burner. Obama and the Democrats will accept no short-term solution, nor any solution that does not result in the destruction of the Republicans in the next election. Meanwhile, on their part, they have offered exactly nothing. See the post below. That's "intransigence." I’m paying less attention to the media blasts than I am to what’s actually going on.
