I don't want to share space with them because they are very territorial but I had some in my house last winter--I think a nest got brought in with some wood for my fireplace outside--and I didn't panic as they came back to life in the warmth of my house. Finally got rid of them all. Thirsty little wasp. I had never seen a wasp drink before-- it never occurred to me that they did. How little we consider the lives of lesser things--what we consider lesser things-- and what a surprise when we notice they do the ordinary things the rest of us do. Watching that wasp drink it's fill of water filled me with fond affection for it where before there was only fear and hate. I am grateful to that wasp for letting me into its world for that small moment in time. I watched a wasp take a drink today and filled myself instead. I saw a wasp take a drink today

My brother is deathly afraid though...he is severely allergic.
