The one thing I remember about them was this one gal who wouldn't eat anything that was "touching." Couldn't have gravy over potatoes, or peas touching meat or potatoes. No butter on anything. Everything separate. I told him they got all mixed up in her tummy but she didn't care. Weird. Oh yeah, meals were cool. I loved dorm life. Meals and things were Somebody Else's Problem. Back at the University of Minnesota, we even had maids come in once a week or so and dust and stuff. I was in the cheap dorm, too. Had a great roommate my first year, but nailed down one of the rare single rooms after that. I just liked it better. Many colleges insist on dorms for new students. I loved dorm life. Meals and things were Somebody Else’s Problem. Back at the University of Minnesota, we even had maids come in once a week or so and dust and stuff. I was in the cheap dorm, too.

Had a great roommate my first year, but nailed down one of the rare single rooms after that. I just liked it better.
