I love that movie. I hate that movie.

The scene where Tom Hanks’ character confides to his unit that he is a teacher in his *other* life is one of the most poignant in the whole movie, for me.

Nothing drives the point home more the ravages of war, than the realness of what that scene evokes.

Anyone else?
