Hurricane Irene's Path August 27, 2011 9:57 pm Eri

Got a friend who is in the Hurricane’s projected path. 74+ mph sustained winds expected for him. An F1 tornado is 73-112 mph if that gives you an idea of how powerful this sucker is. Only the winds aren’t just for a couple of minutes, they’re sustained.

This gives you info on tornadoes so you can see how damaging this can be.

Here’s the hurricane’s path. Type in Hinsdale, NH which is where my friend lives and you can see it’s going just barely to the right of him so it’s going to hit him hard, however much there is left of it. I’m praying it lightens up before getting there. They’ve already had so much rain, this will be disastrous as far as floods are concerned. Hurricane path.
