Jeremiah O'Brien. At the time, the O'Brien had her engines running, something you don't see everyday. I got to go down and see the machinery pumping. My Kindle is currently accumulating Nero Wolfe books and Terry Pratchett Discworld books. I've got a complete Sherlock Holmes on there, and the latest version of Gaiman's "American Gods." I'm just getting started with it. I toured the Pampanito last time I was up there, along with the S.S. Jeremiah O’Brien. Excellent place. Bubba Gumps at Fisherman's Wharf is a GREAT place to eat (I especially like their popcorn shrimp). Might be a bit fattening though. The <i>U.S.S. Pampanito</i> is an excellent place to stroll if you have the time. They also have a DIY Sub there made by college students. It uses a basketball for ballast. A freakin' <i>basketball</i>.
