Meh... Been saying this for years.

MOG Theory eliminates the need for dark energy, and I've always found it difficult to swallow the idea of a "universal speed limit". True, it may be very hard to accelerate beyond the speed of light, but that doesn't make it impossible. Never bought the idea that c was constant either.

Also? Most of our theories on universal evolution are based on what we can see. As our knowledge grows more and more, it starts to become apparent that light, while currently the most useful medium for observing the universe, is also very limited, especially when it comes to the large distances we've explored (up to 12-15 billion light years). People have a tendency throughout the ages to think that what they see is all there is. While it is most likely that there was a big bang around 15 billion years ago, I do not think it created the universe as a whole. To me, it just seems like a very big explosion in our part of space, probably due to the collapse of a titanic black hole.

To bring my argument back on topic, while some parts of our universe may continually expand, and/or others collapse back under their own gravity; I do not see any definite beginning or end to the universe in the human perception of it. But hey, chances are that somewhere out th3ere someone who looks very much like you is thinking this same thought.
