The 2hr pilot included a taste of life on Earth depleted. Hard to say how a major NW big budget scifi series will fare. For us fans of hard sf, it could wind up being Lost In Space, or Avatar lite. Not that you would know from last night's episode but there is a rebel faction on Terra Nova. What they are rebelling against is unknown now but vague hints suggest that they are not bad guys and our fearless leader may be reprising his Avatar role BTW,I thought it was neat that in the pilot they explained that they are living in an alternate time line. My first question was, how long until the extinction event. It seemed like a dead certain end for their "new earth", until they gave that explanation. Still seems iffy for a successful colony. :) I like it. The 2hr pilot included a taste of life on Earth depleted.

Hard to say how a major NW big budget scifi series will fare. For us fans of hard sf, it could wind up being Lost In Space, or Avatar lite.
