I started refining our zombie survival strategy. Figure it should be boat-based with an island the ultimate target. Block Island would be the Northern target, Bahamas the Southern. Either can be reached with one tank of gas. Both would be a little risky because of the size territory we’d need to clear of existing zombies, so we’d need plenty of ammo and a dinghy for recon raids. Block Island will also require some further planning for cold weather. Boat would stay stocked with a month of supplies. If the zombie apocalypse occurs up North, we’d use the backhoe and shotguns to fight our way to the boat dock. Probably with a faster vehicle in tow in the event of backhoe breakdown. Down South we’d make our way up the beach to the docks using the Jeep and shotguns and handguns. So that’s the high level plan, open to revisions.
