Inappropriate? Not a chance.

TB, like the dude, abides, and fills in the info. That's the Tao of the Zone.

Your chords are perfectly tuned, Bowser. Keep on strumming.

I've more thoughts, but it's a foggy, rainy night where I am, there's a fire in the hearth, and I'm turning off the computer to seek wisdom (and solice) in the glowing coals.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with that post at all. Period.

I added the link because yours hadn't panned out in the post. It was easy to find the picture you were talking about, and I didn't think you wanted me plugging it directly into your post.

I apologize for the inappropriateness of that posting and leaving out the URL. Thanks, TB, for making that available. There was little or no connection to the article in the post except to me, and while I felt a strong connection it was a somewhat deceptive affair.

And as you have so poignantly noted in many, many posts, podrock, there is a chord struck in nature which resonates internally with 2nd, 3rd and more harmonics. The "spirit" must be tuned to be receptive and then the awareness flows if the mind can be shut up for a while.

In my limited exposure, the harder won the experience the stronger the harmonics. If one only has the ear for them. the more willing the mind is to quieten, and the louder the existential song plays. A body pushed to excess, a mind tired of bitching at that body and itself, followed by a sudden cessation of exertion is often willing to listen outside itself.

Then there is another Universe which gobbles up "me" and "I" much like an amoeba with a speck of food, as one joins with everything else.

It doesn't get any better than that.

WOW.

Bowser, I cross posted this from community, 'cause I think it belongs here on Space Science. (We can do that now, posting a thread on more than one board.)

Space exploration is more than just exploring the outer realm, it is also about casting new, better, and more detailed examination of our own little blue orb.

I'm looking forward to playing with this database on my own projects, see how well the DEM data works with my GIS software. Thank-you so much for bringing it to our attention. I owe you one, Bowser!
