I did see the deadlines were moved on all but one and they might have done that one now. I'd bet they haven't had enough entries to pay for what they need plus make their profit. Just pointing it out. To write a 50,000 word novel in a month means having a much better idea of your story and where it's going than I usually do at the start. I did manage a 26,000 word middle-grade in less than a month. Besides, wife's getting neck surgery on the 3rd, and I'm going to be Nurse Tom for some of that month. All the Writers Digest 4,000 word contests have had their deadlines extended to Nov. 1. Just pointing it out.

To write a 50,000 word novel in a month means having a much better idea of your story and where it’s going than I usually do at the start. I did manage a 26,000 word middle-grade in less than a month.

Besides, wife’s getting neck surgery on the 3rd, and I’m going to be Nurse Tom for some of that month.
