I’ve got several out and some more in the works, all subbed to paying markets. If I’m going to spend my time, I figure I oughta get paid for it if they’re good enough so I’m keeping my fingers and toes crossed. It takes so damn long before you’re notified, though. I’ll be in a nursing home by the time some of these mags or zines get around to responding. LOL.

I’ve spent a lot of time here encouraging people to get their feet wet in professional writing. Eri’s working on it, and ER is still avoiding sticking more than a toe in the pool, despite a damn good talent.

There are a lot of resources online to help you find places to sell particular subject matter. I’ve researched markets and things extensively, and when I do it, “extensive” means something. I can help direct you to these resources if you’re interested.

Writing is a great way to make money. You can do it from anywhere you can get on the net (even a Swiss Family Robinson pad like yours), set your own hours, and have some fun in the bargain.
