The math has been done many times to show that even if the Democrats “stuck it to the Man” like they’re yelling about, it wouldn’t do a thing to get us out of this hole. The famous “Millionaire Tax” would haul in about $43 billion a year, which is currently three four percent of the annual deficit. Not the budget, the deficit.

If you taxed the top 1 percent at 75 percent of their entire income, it still wouldn’t cover this single year’s deficit. And then what do you do next year?

There aren’t enough “rich” in this country to pay for the spending the Democrats want. There haven’t been for a while now.

That’s what often makes me the skunk at this picnic.

Buffett is just making noises. Meanwhile, his company is currently fighting like hell to avoid paying taxes it owes.

Nobody is more “self-absorbed” than the person who thinks he has the right to force others to supply his every need. That attitude is normal for very small children. It’s sick in an adult.

There is no “99 percent.” There’s just a bunch of nostalgic leftists trying yet again to make a mark in a world that left them behind decades ago, and a bunch of bored kids who haven’t cracked an original thought in their lives.

This is going to backfire on the Democrats same as it did back in the late 60s.

So I guess you’re trying to say that those who made their own money don’t give a shit about how they destroy the economy and screw people as long as they make their profits? Well, that’s typical Republicanism, self-absorbed and rotten to the core.
