The "view" button doesn't seem to work on anything in the library. I just get black. The main board's "search" function doesn't work either. The "Search comments" and "search posts" windows on the dashboard work.

Can you "view" files in the Library?

I can't. Using the "View" link in the Library or click the image or file on the Edit Media pages shows nothing but a blank screen.

I guess it really doesn't matter if/when Robert's new software shows up.

Weird.
The address is missing the leading "h" here, but it was complete when I looked at it on the "dashboard" interface. I've corrected it (click "edit" and look) but it won't feed back into this page.

I've had that trouble a number of times. I will edit a post or comment, and it will come up correct on the dashboard, but the main page refuses to update it, even after many refreshes.

My computer couldn't open that. Says it may be damaged (the file, not my computer).

I agree! But I have to say...the Victorian people are definitely not the *my life can't go on any longer without you* type.

As a female, I was looking at the story from an entirely different perspective.

It might also be possible to load documents in PDF form in the media library.

I'm testing this here.

What Frank says

Both parts, but the second one could use some emphasis. With a bit of experience now the drawbacks to posting it here are starting to show, like the inferior formatting the system imposes on comments. I think that if you went for the option of a forum just for Válcôûrs, you'll be happier with the results.

BTW, you can use "special" characters in your post with codes called "HTML entities". They're short keywords between an ampersand and a semicolon. For example, "œdipal æther" will be displayed as "œdipal æther".

Nice work, Jeff, and keep it coming.
