Nice description of the effects of stimulus spending

Stimulus spending does not "create" jobs but instead provides business for existing companies and temp work for their employees.

I guess you could call it "jobs saved" but it would be more accurately called deferred unemployment.

By giving the impression that the government is "doing something", stimulus spending does have an initial and important psychological effect on the nation as a whole.

But there has come a point where the negative effects of growing the debt outweigh the benefits of shoring up our ailing economy.

If doing things like repealing or deferring industry hobbling EPA rules is "obstructionism", then I'm all for it.

Mama always taught me to be a lady at the table, and a whore in bed....

I like you. People say I've no taste, but I like you.

Don't lecture me on how to debate.
This is not the first time I've been on this merry-go-round.

The issue has already been "discussed," here and elsewhere. You have an incorrect premise in your first paragraph, three in your second paragraph, and one in your third, all of which have been addressed previously and ignored. The mythology is bone-deep, and as I've pointed out, largely immune to correction.

I know that is purely hypothetical and nothing you would say. You have way too much class to use that term, too much breeding, education, and sophistication. Way too articulate, too familiar with the English language, way too stable to have to resort to such a low-class, foul and common expression.

So we don't have to discuss bestiality, which was your word and therefore on your mind, not mine. It wouldn't have occurred to me. IF you had used that term I would have not thought of bestiality, I would have thought you needed to eat more salads or maybe drink a couple of quarts of prune juice.

But, gladly, we don't have to go there. You have way too much class.

I can laugh at you. Weeee this is fun Bowser!

Now...if I were to say "Fuck you and the horse you rode in on"....do you think one could possibly think that would mean beastiality? Because that would just be gross.

Your turn.

Well, then, you are a superb comedian but you don't give yourself enough credit. Not only hypocrisy but anal sex seems to tickle your funny bone.

And if one can't laugh at oneself, who can they laugh at!!!!

First, your dittoheads had to SIGN a pledge to block anything Obama tried. Sign the damned thing. So we blew your non-obstructionist argument out of the water. With no mention of having been wrong yet, but we've discussed those who cannot admit that before.

Second, you are not trying to discuss an issue, you are trying to "win" at all costs. Obama inherited a country on the very verge of collapse due to serious mismanagement over the previous 8 years. Republicans, Democrats, Independents and the Rest Of the World were seriously concerned. It took drastic measures to prevent the entire financial structure from failing. Instead of job creation, the focus was on saving whatever was possible of the jobs we had. There was Republican support for this, because they were the beneficiaries of the bailouts. You know that's true, yet choose to ignore it in order to "win" an argument. Sometime would you try to see reality instead of sound good?

You forget all this, choose to fault Obama for not creating jobs. You think that a Senate with a one Lieberman majority was a Democratic Senate. You know that's not true, again, and he was facing a Republican lockstep, no individual thought, bunch of Senators. YOu know that, too, and choose to ignore it.

When you are ready to argue in a reasonable manner let me know. Right now you don't know how, you think you are. Read some articles on the art of arguing, on resolving issues, how to stick to a topic and how to acknowledge that sometimes one makes mistakes and then get back to me.
