I wish I had said that I didn’t think he was being honest or honorable in our dealings on the HZ. That is true. I suspect he is honest and honorable in the rest of his life, and my overstatements are a reflection of my frustration, not an accurate description of him.

Frank, if you read this there is no need for a reply. To do so would necessitate re-opening the whole damned issue again, with acknowledgments or denials followed by my over-responses, ad infinitum. Let’s let them save the popcorn for the next re-run of “Galaxy Quest”.

We have demonstrated several times you are neither honest nor honorable. I do envy you your family, I do not envy them their patriarch. Honesty is the first mark of a man, and you aren’t.

If you’ll remember, when cornered by your duplicity you run off to hide behind others. That’s not necessary for someone who hasn’t lied, and is the sign of a weak person. Your chest-beating is like pounding a bass drum, only loud because it’s empty – there are no guts inside.

My “little disparaging remarks” aren’t hidden. My opinion is out in the open, expressed quite bluntly. You understand them, don’t you? I think you’re the one who is quite sneaky about being disparaging. In fact, it’s obvious you are.

And please consider my entire posts, don’t drag out a word here and a phrase there to puff yourself up or try to create some illusion. That’s not honest, either.

When one isn’t honest, isn’t honorable, they aren’t anything. I don’t know why we just don’t leave this alone. I’ll just let you nip at my heels, I guess, until the next time. I hope it is a long, long ways off. I’ll wear boots.

As for Thanksgiving, I’ve turned down a number in invitations in order to take a nap that afternoon and work at the Hospice that evening. While I’m aware you sneer at my work at the Hospice, I think we’ll both have a holiday we find rewarding.

And I think I am a big dog in some ways, at least compared to some people. You, for instance. I don’t know that’s anything to be proud of. It’s just a skill set you don’t have because you were learning useful things when some of us were surviving in maybe more challenging environments. And as I would be at a disadvantage in your world, you don’t do well in mine. Honestly, I wouldn’t even try if I were you. There’s no need.
