The Corrs are absolutely remarkable, and I love 'em. I have 71 of their MP3s in my library, which I think is second only to the Beatles.

That performance of "Toss the Feathers" was from the "MTV Unplugged" series, but the other versions I've heard are equally great. The Corrs are at their finest doing their modern take on the old Irish jigs and ballads, where they bring to bear Julliard training--you're watching some of the finest musicians in the world play. They make a living with commercial pop music, but it sure looks to me like their heart is in the traditional instrumentals.

If you want more in the same vein, look for "Haste to the Wedding", "Lough Erin Shore", "On My Father's Wings", "Paddy McCarthy", "Rebel Heart", and "The Mistrel Boy". You'll love 'em all.

Not all their commercial work is shallow. Also look for a live performance of Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" with Mick Fleetwood on drums, at the Royal Albert Hall if I recall. Another one you won't forget.
