Back to that drone. On BBC Iran says it electronically hijacked and landed it. December 9, 2011 8:15 pm bowser

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-16103467

“US officials acknowledged the loss of the unmanned plane, saying it had malfunctioned, but Tehran said it electronically hijacked the drone and steered it to the ground.”

“Steered it to the ground” may be a translation artifact, or it may be it didn’t exactly “land” it in a way “land” usually applies to aircraft.  And while the video clip doesn’t show the underneath portions, clearly it wasn’t too damaged by the process.
