You will have to take this on a leap of faith because you don’t really know me. Indeed, I speak only the truth. This was not a *gotcha* thing NEVER NEVER NEVER.

I am a recovering overeater, a day to day, sometimes minute by minute struggle.

I have written about my struggle in my blog.
I am at a point in my recovery that sometimes even I don’t know what is disturbing to me until it presents itself.

I , however, have the unique ability to laugh at myself. The picture of the jack asses was letting my band of brothers know that I was taking myself a little too seriously…and I actually got a huge chuckle at their responses. So…I, in my own warped way, was acquiescing and having fun with my guys.

But to go from having been heavy at one time to finding that picture of a woman’s arm appearing to be the body of the woman standing behind her is too much of a stretch.

If one truly finds that offensive, then any picture of an overweight woman would be offensive. In that case the world would be an overwhelmingly burden. And I don’t get that from Jody.

Either that or it was a “gotcha”, which is also in the realm of possibility.

Personally, I don’t really think anything offended you. I think you did that as a joke, and males “bit”. It worked.

And, if I’m wrong, it would be interesting to see where the line was crossed.
