Oh and to answer your question, no, I didn’t know about education (and healthcare) improvements under Gaddafi. But please continue to sing the praises of dictators, it’s become rather amusing .

You guys who haven’t learned anything about the world since you were 12, who follow every little path the government and megacorporations want you to follow without questioning what is behind their actions are, to put it kindly, as nicely as possible, fools.

Most of us have grown up, learned to be a bit discerning, and know we get lied to often. The US government is worse than a used car salesman when it comes to truly informing the public. Politicians lie, bureaucrats lie, megacorporations like, and you folks go for it EVERY time if the lie satisfies your preconceptions.

The Center of All Iniquity does NOT lie behind enemy lines, as Carl Jung says. I honestly think that is a little deep for you, though, and won’t be understood. What he meant is that both sides have a dark side, and to try to demonize the enemy is a comfortable haven for the coward.

You don’t have to learn this information from “demonizers,” you just have to keep facts in your brain whether they fit your worldview or not. I always knew Libya had gone to war with Egypt and Chad, I just had to look up the dates and the details on the exact Chad territory annexed. Gaddafi’s imperialist ambitions for Africa and his “Great Islamic State” were hardly a secret, or something “imposed” on his record by his enemies.

Geez, don’t all good liberals remember the crap they gave Reagan the Warmonger on this issue back then? Back when he was helping France and Chad kick Gaddaffi’s ass?

That you have to invoke “demonizers” to explain Gaddafi’s infamous history is almost surreal.

Before I move on to others, lets take tis one. What did you know about Libya,and what were you taught by the demonizers?

Before you trot off to every other side trip you can manage, let’s see if you can stick to one, this issue.

That guy in the middle looks likely, but they are inscrutable.

Those people you mentioned bowser? They aren’t unstable but they are threats to their own people. It doesn’t matter if they receive a few benefits here and there, it doesn’t make up for the corrupt regime in power. A government good to others is not always good to it’s own people, and a government good to their own people is not always good to others. Also? The US is no exception to these rules.

RobVG, who preformed syphilis experiments on poor black people in the 50′s without their knowledge and then refused them treatment or compensation at every opportunity?

Who used US AND canadian citizens as test subjects for a mental manipulation experiment?

Who covertly infiltrated numerous nations and blackmailed, assassinated, and/or overthrew for control?

Who established numerous laws over the decades taking away the rights of foreigners and immigrants to the US, either blocking them from jobs and homes, or outright imprisoning them in “internment camps”?

Who stole land from Mexico, and overthrew the Kingdom of Hawaii due to nationalist zeal and/or business interests?

Who meddles and interferes with other nations in ways they have not right to, even if they do consider themselves some “world peacekeeper”?

You are taking an opportunity here to paint the US a saint. We’re FAR from that.
