The kids usually get us something in spite of our discouraging them from squandering their money. The thing that irritates me about Christmas is that I buy Alice and all the rest of them things they want and need throughout the year (within my ability) only to feel compelled to buy things for this one particular day. For instance, I bought Alice a Kindle a couple of months ago for no reason. I could have easily waited for Christmas or her B'day. I am not too smart about things like that. :) Frankly it annoys me. I am not a Christmas guy, but she is enough for both of us. :) Yes I did. :)
