They are both professional and human, will always do their jobs and often you want them to do more than just their jobs. Get ugly with them and they don't want to deal with you. Normally people with slurred speech due to the effects of drugs are also somnolent. If Eri is awake, alert and still slurring her speech she may have another issue, maybe a minor stroke. They would have told her that, though, so I'd guess that's not the problem. Beats the hell out of me, maybe something which has swollen her tongue slightly. Here's wishing her the best and then some.
