I don't care what happens to dead bodies, even my own. What infuriates me is that this action will be used against other American soldiers, it will be exploited and exaggerrated by the bad guys and it will put our people in danger. My objection isn't about morality, it's a perfectly cold-blooded calculation. You know how you feel when somedody degrades and humiliates our guys. Our enemies are no different. These punks have handed the enemy a loaded gun. And I don't buy the celebratory response to victory, either. Anyone can react viscerally and savagely in combat, but you don't take movies so you can show your friends. You don't feel proud of it later. After I ambivle around a while I can state without reservation that this matter has exculpatory evidence mitigated by additional considerations. Without weaseling around, getting right to the point without further adieu, I'd have to say these folks need to be prosecuted, sentenced, serve a minimal time in the slam, taken out and allowed to resume their careers as if nothing happened. After all, 90% of this is due to their training, which teaches to kill, kill, kill the sub-human enemy du jour.
