One can see many problems for the US and few bright spots. The 20th century was America’s, the 21st belongs to Asia. The Iraq adventure demonstrated the US’s military and financial limitations. You can bet that friendlys and hostiles alike are revising their estimations.

It will be interesting to see what happens when the Rest of the World imposes sanctions on the US, maybe for emissions control. That can’t happen yet, but as China, India, Russia, the EU, Japan and Brazil all start benefiting from globalization, and the US keeps hemorrhagging from the same, it could easily start.

All that has to happen is countries transferring wealth out of dollars so that sanctions on the US don’t affect the sanctioneers too badly.

Population growth looks normal,BUT there were 114,540 DEAD IRAQI CIVILIANS…to take out ONE DICTATOR. Not very good odds. And WikiLeaks says there should be another 13,750 added to that.

Hi Lindy. Nice to read you. And we need you for balance. I find myself a moderate on a board where everyone else is to the right of me, some nearer and some farther. It’s a terrible burden, not one many would even attempt to bear.
