poi involves swinging tethered weights through a variety of rhythmical and geometric patterns. Poi artists may also sing or dance while swinging their poi. Poi can be made from various materials with different handles, weights, and effects (such as fire).

You weren’t around when I explained that I’m developing this software for a client, a private university, and using the Zone as a test site. So I have a stake in understanding what goes wrong that goes beyond just taking care of the Zone. I’m willing to take time to investigate something like this.

It was pretty easy in this case. The link button isn’t an insert link button, it’s a wrap the currently selected text in a link button. When the cursor’s just a caret, no text selected, link button is grey; select some text and it all becomes so black and white. Click the button and a little dialog overlays for the URL and title. Viola.

I had no intention of switching back and forth between anything. I only wanted to find one method that would work. I failed.

Specifically: on the “visual” tab, how do you insert a link with text displaying other than the url?

I assume that the next time I try this, I can get it to work on the html tab, so please don’t waste your time on a quest to find it. On the other hand, if you know the answer, I’d appreciate hearing it.
