Gingrich asked for and received redemption from a genuine fundamental Christian megachurch founder. Kennedy and Condit could be added, too. The difference between the Democrat and Republican philanderers is that the Democrats don't have the moral awareness to even know they did something wrong. The Republicans have sought and received absolution, forgiveness and pats on the head from at least one nationally known minister. Said minister has been anointed by God and able to sell indulgences if there is a suitable return. Oh, for God’s sake ER.
