Newt and the space program January 22, 2012 2:00 pm TB

This article is a bit dated, but gives some idea where the Republican candidates stand on space policy. Newt seems to be the only one with specifics, and these ideas match ones I’ve heard him talk about in the past.

Believe it or not, Obama hasn’t done half bad in this department, encouraging private alternatives instead of more massive government boondoggles. I don’t know what his motivations are — I doubt it involves any enthusiasm for free enterprise — but so far I’m not complaining about the results.
