<p>No, I said the people whose objective is looting that income are not qualified to decide "earned."</p>

To nobody's surprise, in their eyes almost anyone with a lot of money is deemed not to have a legitimate right to it. Therefore the wealth can be taken.

I'm afraid that group seems to include you.

I'm sorry so much of what I say doesn't connect. We'll leave aside for now whether the pitching is wide or the catcher is missing even the easy ones.

Going to yell at me now for "changing the subject" to baseball?

I'm done, TB. For this election, anyway. You cannot and will not stick to a point. For example.

I talked about income which is earned and gave an example. You say no one can determine earned and then wander off gibbering about masks, guns and infinity.

I'm not going to respond to your political posts for the duration. Others may choose to follow your slithering around issues, and I wish them well. However, people who cannot admit they are wrong are impossible to discuss anything with. Iraq, GWB's lies, Cheney's lies, and on and on and on. As far as I know, you still believe GWB told the truth. GWB even admits he lied.

So, as far as discussing political matters with you, I'm going to declare MISSION ACCOMPLISHED and wander off. I hope I'm able to stick with it.

I'm with you on that one....I was appalled at the stance of Gingrich, Romney and Santorum pounding their chests all wanting to take out Iran last night. Bloodthirsty fuckers all of them. Our country HAS gone down the drain....racism, obstinance, greediness, lies, arrogance. Piss on them all (I'm outta here)

<p>I don't think the guys with the masks and guns get to decide what's "earned" or not.</p>

And in case you've missed the point the last fifty times I've made it, the rich are already taxed more heavily. Much more heavily. By percentages, amounts, or any other calculation. Just because your personal upper limit is "infinity" doesn't change that fact.

Again, you avoid the point and try to divert. The observation was that it was impossible to "earn" that much money. Especially without producing anything. And would it be unreasonable to tax these earnings more heavily to provide medical care for needy people? Who earn their livings as janitors or burger flippers.

Can you understand that? Not agree with it, but at least figure out the issue?

And the family values issue is about Republican hypocrisy in supporting a candidate with a very sordid past who preached morality even as he was behaving in a contrary manner.

Get it?

Continuing to spin these issues will demonstrate an either an unwillingness to debate reasonably or an inability to understand the matters. The first is the most probable, and I'd suggest a course in debate, communication, or logic. The second would indicate stupidity.

As with "family values," Democratic concern with wealthy political candidates seems to be a relatively recent phenomenon.

Romney reports 42.5 million income in 2010 and 2011. A worthy Republican President.

Now someone tell me how he 'earned' that.

And why a citizen working as a landscaper for minimum wage should go without health insurance while Romney keeps that amount for virtually no productive work?

The "historian" will release his contracts just prior to the next debate. Let's see how well they bear out his claim that he did not lobbying, was simply a very, very highly paid "historian".
