For Robert January 25, 2012 12:06 pm bowser

You were, of course, absolutely correct.  As was I.  The use of the term “Brownshirts” (inadvertently left off the second ‘r’ the first typing) was deliberate and I believe the comparison was accurate.   And “shitstorms” only mean they are afraid one is correct.  So far so good.

And the comparison isn’t flattering.  Wasn’t meant to be flattering.  Nor was it neutral.  So, it does belong on Flame or needs to be gone.   I trashed it as a non-productive post, provocative without being thought provoking, simply a post which allowed me to voice my own particular prejudices.

Thanks for calling me out in such a gentle manner.  Not sure I deserved that after that post.
