Nothing was “blocked.” Things were passed in the Senate all that month, most of it with significant Republican votes.

Meanwhile, Obama declares he’s simply going to route around the legislature if they don’t knuckle under to his agenda, and nobody cares.

P.S. does anyone else at all find it just a little creepy that overt and uncompromising political opposition to a leader’s agenda is now considered the equivalent of incipient fascism?

He’s talking about some kind of pledge signed by a number of House members, or Senate members (it varies) declaring that they will oppose everything Obama is doing.
