I suggest working backwards one crash at a time, waiting for it to stabilize and integrate before the next step backwards.

As you go back to different systems, it's going to get harder.

The search system on this board is also a plus. The dashboard versions always worked, and now the main board one seems to work too.

(One example of my point: remember Guantanamo?)

The most egregious disconnects in the last 10 years have come about because of a basic fault in the American people. They want to believe their President. They want to believe their President is honest and honorable, and would not sacrifice the lives of American men and women lightly.

And they were wrong. But the fault isn't entirely theirs.

That was 5 years after "Mission Accomplished" in Iraq and 4 years after the Taliban had been "eliminated" from Afghanistan, both according to GWB. On the positive side, there were no longer any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq or Afghanistan not in American hands. The "smoking gun" of terrorism in Iraq was not a mushroom cloud but "Shock and Awe", bombs, bangs and flashes from America, signalling a strong desire for peace on the part of the American President and Vice President. Lots of peace.

Don't know why it was so lively here. One had only to listen to the President, and everything was fine. Kool-Aid for the ears. It would be nice to have an imprecise memory of those days.

Access to older posts would show an amazing disconnect between what liberals were saying about a number of critical issues in early 2008 versus what they're saying now.

I'm lucky the history was purged? Either you use imprecise language and I forgive you in advance, or you have said something extremely offensive to me. Please clarify.

We're just waiting it out.

The issues the media is trying to make into headline news are not the issues most of America has been paying attention to.

November is coming.

I do indeed remember four years ago, and what people were saying about the deficits, unemployment rates, and many other things. You have no idea how lucky you are that the history here has been regularly purged.
