“A British soldier and Royal Marine have been shot dead by an Afghan army soldier, the Ministry of Defence says.
“The gunman also injured a third UK serviceman when he opened fire at the British military HQ in Lashkar Gah in Helmand province, southern Afghanistan.”
What can one expect of an outcome where the armies being trained to take over for NATO regularly kill NATO personnel? Where an “allied” soldier can’t turn his or her back on their “friends”?
It seems to be time to acknowledge we’re fighting the entire country and do that in a winning manner or get out.
