As we all know, recently Kodak, the famous photo company, had to declare bankruptcy after about a century of service. Apparently, when everyone else was going digital, they weren’t and it did them in.
Now, for some reason I thought that whenever a company went bankrupt, it was done. Kaput. It didn’t do more business. It appears that I’m wrong.
Not only are they still around, they’ve filed a request for the ability to pay $13,000,000 in bonuses to some of their employees.
What demented mind comes up with that kind of logic!? I don’t see how they could possibly justify asking to pay money they don’t have, to give select employees (I’m guessing higher-ups) an additional wad of cash while the company crumbles around them!
I don’t see them getting this, and if they do, I don’t see it going well. What do you guys think?
