Another complaint. April 15, 2012 3:43 pm bowser

My very good Sears Craftsman lawnmower which does very well with no maintenance finally needed to have the self-propelled belt changed.  That’s all right.

Now, why does one lawnmower have to have screws and bolts with 1/4″ heads, 5/16″ heads, 3/8″ heads, 1/2″ heads and 5/8″ heads.  It sounds like a small deal, and is because I have 3 socket wrenches with 3 different socket sizes out there.  BUT, I always need the one which is not “loaded”.

It is an unnecessary pain in the butt.  Another way this economy wastes the time and money of the retired senior citizens who could be napping.  Should be napping.

America could grow and prosper if it weren’t for waste such as this.  The citizenry would be happier, more lawns would be mowed faster, and I wouldn’t keep hitting old Easter eggs from 35 years ago.  Heck, I have full-grown pheasants out there it’s taken me so long to do this.

I’d propose a commission to advise the President on ways to save money if I thought they cared.
