Irrelevant indeed! Unreal. A symptom of a segment of society working itself into a frenzy, accepting no responsibility as the quest for power is too important to be constrained by principles or reality.

Yes, the Democrats are insane, with some of their rules bordering on eldritch insanity. Same thing goes for the leftists; and when it comes down to the final countdown, the candidates will be judged on more than their economic standpoints and those of their respective party’s. I don’t see any of the Republican candidates winning because they come off as backwater jackasses, and if Obama waited a term before attempting reelection, I don’t think he’d win either. Some of the stuff he says is very different from the stuff he does.

That being said, I still think Obama’s the shoo-in for the next four years, simply because he’s the lesser of two evils. We’re gonna be screwed one way or the other, but I’d rather prefer the intrusive probe to the satanic buttrape.

The last party-favouring congress I’ve heard of was the infamous “Radical Republican” one. I haven’t heard of anything like it since. I don’t know how much of the people in congress are “communists”, but if the organisation as a whole get’s equal amounts of crap from both sides, I’d say it’s pretty balanced with some bias torwards lobbyists.

The Democrats have nothing to address the fiscal issues. Nothing to address the ever-increasing near-trillion-dollar deficits over the next ten years in Obama’s own budget. Nothing from the Senate, and raw socialism from their people in the House.

The idiotic Buffett Rule blew up in their faces when the truth of it got out.

They talk about increasing taxes, but will not talk about which ones and by how much, and what revenues will be raised. They can’t. The math is the enemy. Go over what my comments in the “Visual Aid” thread again.
