In fact there would be sonic booms if they moved as rapidly as the films show and the reports say.

And I haven’t heard of anyone who said they heard one.

Either they have managed to do something at a molecular level which allows other materials to pass through, which might be possible, or they don’t exist. Which is also possible.

We want relationships from our own deluded selfish perspective. We only want to hear certain truths.….we abhor the thought of being challenged. It is threatening. Seemingly, we don’t want to stretch our minds to entertain different possibilities.We unwittingly close ourselves off from answers that could possibly show another way…a better way, of being. We exist from a place of denial, because to face certain truths requires personal responsibility. No one wants to feel..* at ~THAT~ level of awareness.* We create a safe haven of rationalizations and half truths. Change is thwarted… at any cost. Stagnancy is preserved.

Reality is obscured and cloaked into our own fantasies. Wrong choices and repeats of negative behavior entomb us….enthrall us. Religions enslave us into a believing we are not good enough..we are convinced we require an arbitrator to do our bidding. We allow others to salve our fears. We seek enlightenment but only if it serves the greater good of one…our self. We whore ourselves into thinking we are righteous.
Hypocrisy. We believe from where we are most comfortable and by what we think we need or want. We whine and belly ache about our human condition..or worse… we judge others for our own discrepancies and blame them for not creating the happiness we seek…or standing in our way for trying to achieve it.

We all want to be heard, but we are selective in what we choose to hear.

It is more comfortable for many a man to believe I’m a loving, supportive father who helps his daughter as much as he can rather than to see he’s enabling an adult to live a destructive and deadly lifestyle.

His “truth” is that he’s a helper, good father, nice guy, which he probably is. He’s also killing his daughter. That’s another “truth”, closer to reality. He won’t see that, however, because it’s emotionally uncomfortable. His judgments get in the way. He knows his daughter, she’s a good kid, and if she were, say, an addict she wouldn’t be good. Therefore she’s not an addict, and I can keep supporting her. That’s his truth. Emotionally comfortable.

That it doesn’t reflect the entire reality is irrelevant. He’d pass a lie detector test.

But that doesn’t matter.

You suppose the farther out from the big bang you get, the older the galaxies/stars/planets are? They would have ‘condensed’ before the ones closer to the origin. Or was the big bang more like an expanding shell so they formed roughly at the same time?

What you have to ask is, are there civilizations that have had far longer to mature and develop advanced technology?

I believe in aliens but they just haven’t visited us unless they’ve solved the problem of traveling faster than light.

The rest of us use the flickerships. Some of this cargo is perishable.
