But Mitt takes the cake. And you don't have to be a commie pinko slut to see that, his own party has remarked on it frequently, and in excruciating detail. His changes of position and direction are frequent and outrageous. And he'll look straight at the camera and just deny them outright. It's like he's never heard of videotape and Google. Still, I think this bully thing is really no big deal, I'll challenge anyone who claims he hasn't done some really stupid and cruel things over the last 50 years, and our teenage years are something most of us would rather forget. I know I was never a bully, but I did things that were worse. This incident, if true, is the sort of thing that people will forgive, but which if lied about could come back again and again to haunt you when you least wanted it to. This is why I just can't understand why Mitt insists he "can't remember" this incident, yet refuses to deny or admit it outright. I remember extremely well all the things I'm ashamed of now, and if I were confronted with charges like this, I would either deny them if untrue, or 'fess up to them if they weren't. Nobody's going to hold a 50 year old schoolyard cruelty against a man in his 60s. But nobody's going to believe a convenient amnesia like that either. I guess he's counting on the forgiveness of his partisans, their hatred of his opponent, and gentle treatment by the right wing press.
